As with Chamomile, Lavender is a complex oil with many actions and therefore many uses. Undiluted, it is soothing to
insect bites and stings. One of the safest of all oils, it can be applied directly to cuts and superficial burns to soothe and help prevent scarring. A drop on the temples will help relieve a headache. Herbalists also say that Lavender can relieve headaches, P.M.S. symptoms, and help insomnia.
